Handset Research

different requirements of the three business divisions. iTouch has
found decentralised, dynamic centres with local development teams to be
the most efficient approach to supporting its B2C business and has
established local platforms in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Mexico,
Portugal, South Africa and Spain. The B2B channel utilises these
platforms as well but also leverages outsourced technical solutions
where better suited as well as specialist
solutions developed in-house to facilitate interactive TV and corporate
messaging solutions.
iTouch has two principal technology centres supporting the B2O
distribution channel. One (based in France) provides the mobile content
download solution to carriers and the other (based in
Australia) the corporate messaging and prepaid airtime recharge solutions. iTouch’s B2O
platforms are capable of being rapidly adapted and integrated to carriers’ gateways, billing systems, rendering engines
and messaging platforms.
Connectivity and Billing
iTouch maintains direct premium SMS connections with carriers on a global basis and utilises connectivity aggregators for
smaller operations or where preferential out-payments are obtainable.
Other methods of billing users utilised by iTouch include credit/debit
card, IVR, premium WAP, Paypal and direct bank deposits.
Reporting
Reporting is real time and dynamic. iTouch is capable of providing its carrier clients with reports showing content downloads
by title, artist, record label and handset type. For the B2C
business division, real time monitoring screens allow marketing
managers to instantly assess the performance of specific advertisements
